Manok Na Pula Boss Fight Predictor — Check Your Matchup

The boss fight predictor gives a matchup reading — Strong, Even or Unfavorable — for one chicken against one boss. You give it the boss, four stat tiers and how far the chicken is evolved, and it returns the reading with the reason behind it.

Boss fight predictor

How the reading is made: each boss weighs your four tiers differently. Ostrich: HP 35%, defense 35%, attack 15%, critical chance 15%. Eagle: attack 30%, critical chance 20%, HP 25%, defense 25%, and the reading cannot be Strong unless the chicken is Awakened. Alien Overlord: all four tiers 25% each, and the reading cannot be better than Even, because that fight is decided by timing. An Evolved chicken adds 5 points and an Awakened one 10. A score of 70 or more reads Strong, 45 to 69 Even, under 45 Unfavorable. The weights are a rule of thumb, not values from the game’s code, and the result is not a win percentage.

What Do You Enter?

Six things.

  • The boss you are about to fight.
  • Attack tier, HP tier, critical chance tier and defense tier — each from 1 (low) to 10 (high).
  • How far the chicken is evolved: Base, Evolved or Awakened.

How Do You Turn a Stat Card Into Tiers?

Every chicken’s stat card shows each stat as a current value over a maximum. Divide the current value by the maximum, multiply by 10 and round: that is the tier, with 1 as the floor.

Stat (Unicorn Chicken, level 1)CardTier
Attack power500 / 2,8302
HP2,000 / 10,2002
Critical chance50% / 90%6
Defense250 / 1,2222

A freshly unlocked chicken sits near the bottom of its own range on most stats, which is the honest picture: it has not been upgraded yet.

What Do You Get Back?

One of three bands and a sentence of reasoning.

BandScoreMeaning
Strong70 or moreThe chicken’s build suits what this boss tests
Even45 to 69The fight turns on timing
UnfavorableUnder 45The build is short on what this boss tests

How Does the Predictor Work?

It scores a build against what each boss rewards. The Ostrich rewards HP and defense. The Eagle rewards the Awakened stage. The Alien Overlord rewards little that can be entered, because that fight is decided by timing.

BossAttackHPCritDefenseSpecial rule
Ostrich15%35%15%35%—
Eagle30%25%20%25%Cannot read Strong unless Awakened
Alien Overlord25%25%25%25%Never better than Even

The four tiers are weighted, multiplied by 10, and an Evolved chicken adds 5 points, an Awakened one 10. The score is a rule-based estimate. It shows which way a matchup leans; it is not a percentage chance of winning.

Worked Examples

The same chicken against all three bosses, and one change of evolution stage:

Build (attack / HP / crit / defense, stage)BossScoreReading
5 / 8 / 4 / 8, EvolvedOstrich75Strong
5 / 8 / 4 / 8, EvolvedEagle68Even
5 / 8 / 4 / 8, AwakenedEagle73Strong
5 / 8 / 4 / 8, EvolvedAlien Overlord68Even
2 / 2 / 6 / 2, Base (the Unicorn Chicken card above)Ostrich26Unfavorable

Two things show in the table. A tanky build that reads Strong against the Ostrich drops to Even against the Eagle until it is Awakened, because the Eagle’s counter belongs to the Awakened form. And a chicken fresh out of the roster, however high its ceiling, reads Unfavorable until its HP and defense are upgraded.

What Does It Leave Out?

Your timing. Two players with the same chicken get different results against the same boss, and no entry field captures that. The predictor reads the build; the strike bar still decides the fight.

The game’s own prediction is a different number again: before a bet, the game prints a chance of winning for the matchup, such as “Prediction: 69% chance of winning”. It covers the opponent in front of you; this tool covers the three campaign bosses.

The three fights themselves are covered in the guide to the Manok Na Pula bosses. The game file is on the Manok Na Pula APK mod page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the result a win percentage?

No. The tool returns a band — Strong, Even or Unfavorable — from a rule-based estimate. The game’s own bet screen does show a percentage before a fight, such as “Prediction: 69% chance of winning”.

Which bosses does it cover?

The Ostrich, the Eagle and the Alien Overlord.

How do you get the tiers for a chicken?

Divide each current stat by its maximum on the stat card, multiply by 10 and round.

Does evolution stage change the result?

Yes, most of all against the Eagle, whose counter belongs to the Awakened form.
