Can You Install the APK on an iPhone?
No. APK is the Android package format, and iOS opens only its own format, IPA. An APK cannot be renamed or converted into an IPA; the two are built for different systems.
iOS also refuses any app that is not signed with a certificate it trusts. That is why a file from outside the App Store needs signing before an iPhone will run it.
Is There a Mod for iOS?
No iOS mod file exists on the download page: the mod is an Android APK. A mod on iOS would have to be a separate IPA built for iOS, and installing one means sideloading — signing the file with an Apple ID through a signing tool on a computer.
Sideloading has costs an Android install does not:
Signing with a free Apple ID lasts 7 days. After that the app stops opening until it is signed again.
A paid developer account signs for a year.
A revoked certificate closes the app without warning.
What Happens to Your Save on iOS?
The App Store build and any sideloaded build are separate installs with separate data. Progress in one does not appear in the other, and removing an app removes its local data.
The game has had cloud saving since at least version 5.5, so progress in the App Store build can be kept across a reinstall.

For a player in the Philippines, AltStore PAL is not available, so the free choices come down to AltStore Classic and Sideloadly. A shared-certificate service removes the weekly re-signing, and carries the largest risk in exchange: if Apple disables that certificate, all the apps that depend on it go dead together.
Free Apple ID or Paid Developer Account?
A free Apple ID costs nothing, signs for 7 days and is capped at 3 sideloaded apps at a time. The paid Apple Developer Program costs $99 a year and stretches a signature to about a year. The choice of tool does not depend on which account sits behind it.
What Has to Be Done After Signing?
Trust the developer profile on the device: Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, select the profile, tap Trust. Until then iOS keeps a newly sideloaded app shut. The path is the same on iPad.
Why Does a Sideloaded App Stop Opening?
An app that sits on the home screen and will not start, with no error shown, has lost its certificate: revoked or expired. On a personal Apple ID that is rare and limited to your own apps. On a shared signing service it reaches every subscriber at once.
Does the Game Look Different on iPad?
The game uses its phone layout on iPad. Buttons and the strike bar are scaled up to fill the screen; there is no separate tablet design.
