Sarimanok in Manok Na Pula — Abilities and Unlock (2026)
Sarimanok is a legendary chicken in Manok Na Pula and one of the six in the top tier. Its strength is durability: a shield that absorbs damage and a slow heal that keeps it standing through long fights. It wins by refusing to lose, which makes it the most forgiving top-tier chicken for a player still learning the strike bar.

What Is Sarimanok in Manok Na Pula?
Sarimanok holds the roster’s legendary slot for durability. A burst chicken wants the fight over in two exchanges; Sarimanok wants it to reach ten.
What Does Sarimanok Do in a Fight?
It absorbs, then recovers. The shield takes incoming damage before it reaches Sarimanok’s health. The heal then restores health a little at a time across the match, not in one burst.
Sarimanok does not have the fastest strike or the largest combo in the game, and does not need them. Because the heal keeps adding up, every extra round tips the fight further its way.
How Do You Play Sarimanok?
Slowly, on purpose. The plan has three parts:
Do not trade burst for burst
Against a dedicated attacker that is a fight Sarimanok loses. Let the shield take the opponent’s opening instead.
Stay in the fight
The heal works only while the match continues, so the goal is a long exchange, not a fast finish.
Press slower opponents
Against a chicken slower than Sarimanok, the shield buys room to strike first more often.
Timing still matters: a clean first hit shortens the opponent’s lead before the heal starts to matter. But a mistimed tap costs Sarimanok less than it costs any other top-tier chicken.

Where Does the Name Come From?
From Maranao legend. The Sarimanok is a legendary bird of the Maranao people of Mindanao, shown as a brightly coloured fowl and treated as a sign of good fortune. Its legendary chicken in the game carries that name and that plumage.
The name joins sari, assorted, with manok, which once meant any bird: a bird of many colours. Maranao art draws it with spread, colourful wings, a long feathered tail and a fish held in its beak or talons, its head covered in scroll, leaf and spiral motifs. Tradition shows it beside flags and standards rather than alone, and it still tops the umbrellas of sultans and dignitaries. Beyond Mindanao it became a national image: the ABS-CBN network used it as a mascot from 1993 to 2000, and National Artist Abdulmari Asia Imao made it a recurring subject of his work.
It carries one name in Filipino and in English — one of the few roster entries that does. “Sarimanok (Mythical)” is the same chicken under a longer label.
How Do You Unlock Sarimanok?
With Dragon Eye. Sarimanok is one of the chickens Dragon Eye opens, alongside Manok na Hokage and Ultra Sisiw ULTIMATE.
Dragon Eye comes from daily login rewards, quests and events, and the Memory of the Dragon mode. In the standard game it arrives slowly, so Sarimanok is a long-term target rather than an early pickup: hold every Dragon Eye for this one unlock instead of spreading it across smaller ones.
In the Mod APK for Manok Na Pula, the save starts at level 1000 with 16,777,215 Dragon Eye, and every chicken shows in the roster; each unlocks after an ad plays.

Pick Sarimanok first if you are still learning the strike timing, and Super Sisiw 4 once your timing is reliable. Many players run both: Sarimanok for bosses and long grinds, Super Sisiw 4 for short online matches.
Is Sarimanok Good for Beginners?
Yes, which is rare for a top-tier chicken. The shield and heal forgive a mistimed strike, and its damage stays useful into the middle of the game, so the chicken you learn on does not have to be replaced.
Where it ranks among the rest is in the tier list of every ranked chicken.
How Long Does Sarimanok Take to Unlock?
Months, in the standard game. One player’s account puts it at two to three months of daily play, one to two hours a day, with every Dragon Eye held back for this one chicken. Other player sources tie a direct unlock to level 1000, the level cap. The developer publishes neither figure; both point the same way: Sarimanok is a long-term target, not an early pickup.

Plan the standard route around the Dragon Eye sources: collect the daily login reward every day, finish the quests that pay Dragon Eye, and play the events while they run. Spending Dragon Eye on smaller unlocks along the way is what turns two months into four.
Where Does Sarimanok Sit in the Top Tier?
S tier holds six chickens, and Sarimanok is the only one built to outlast rather than outpace. The other five win on speed, burst, control or a new top form, which is why Sarimanok pairs well with a faster S-tier pick instead of replacing one: it covers the long fights the burst chickens lose, and they cover the short fights it cannot drag out. The full ranking, with every S-tier chicken and its role, is in the Manok Na Pula tier list.
